The flat is a minute away from the bike & pedestrian bridge over the New Cut and so the Arnolfini, Watershed, M-Shed and the bars & restaurants round the harbour are all a swift and pleasant walk away. Park Street and the city centre just a minutes or two beyond that. In the other direction & just as close are the Tobacco Factory, ALDI and the rest of the shops, deli's, bars & bistro's in Southville. Bedminster's ASDA - cheap & open 24hrs - is five minutes away by foot. The lounge here is huge and bright & the kitchen's a good size too. There's a good size bath/shower/loo. The bedroom isn't huge but our king-size double fits in there with room enough for two bedside tables, a chest of drawers & a wardrobe besides - so it's big enough and - bar the odd seagull or two in the summer - very quiet. The neighbours here are friendly & quiet, there's room for a couple of bikes under the stairs in the communal hallway. Solon deals quickly and efficiently with any repairs. It's a very nice, very cheap, interesting flat in a *great* location. We're looking for a two-bedroomed house (ideally), flat or maisonette in Bristol. Places in the city centre itself are very welcome but all *central* districts are welcome.
